Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens to fill up vacancies of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI Pharmacist) on temporary basis likely to be permanent in ITB Police Force in Pay Level-5 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 29,200-92300/- 7th CPC). Selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad.

Educational Qualifications
i) Pass in the Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with physics, chemistry and biology as subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
ii) Diploma in Pharmacy from any Central/State Government institution or any institution recognized by Central/State Government.
iii) Registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Age Limit: Between 20 to 28 years (The upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC and Ex-Servicemen and Government Servant in accordance with the instructions & orders issued by the Central Government from time to time. Crucial date for determining the age will be 28th July, 2024 (28-07-2024) i.e. the last date for receipt of online application. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 29th July 1996 and later than 28th July 2004.
Application Fee: Male candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR), OBC and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories applying for recruitment to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Pharmacist) should pay Rs. 100 as application fee through online payment gateway system on www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in
General instructions to candidates
- Applications from candidates will be accepted only through ONLINE MODE on www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. No offline application will be accepted. For detailed information about age relaxation, eligibility conditions, procedure of filling online application form, recruitment procedure, tests and pay & allowances etc., the applicants are advised to go through the detailed advertisement appearing on the ITBP recruitment website i.e. www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
- Any further information/notification in respect to this recruitment will be made on the. ITBP recruitment website only. Hence, applicants are advised to login the ITBPF recruitment website from time to time and also advised to go through eligibility criteria carefully before applying, to avoid disappointment at later stage.
- The candidates whose applications are found in order, shall be issued admit cards (online) to appear in recruitment tests.
- Candidates have to download online admit card from ITBP recruitment website. Therefore, candidates should provide genuine and functional e-mail ID and mobile number at the time of filling online application form. ITBP will not be responsible in case of non receipt of admit card due to technical and other reasons.
- The selection process will consist of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Test, Documentation, Practical Examination, Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME).
- Medical Examination to assess the fitness of candidates will be conducted in terms of Uniform Guidelines for Recruitment Medical Examination for GOs and NGOs in CAPFs and AR issued vide MHA U.O. No. A.Vl-1/2014-Rectt (SSB) dated 20.05.2015 and as amended from time to time by the Government and A.VI.I/14-Rectt (SSB) dated 24-08-2015 as amended from time for time by the Government.
